font size

Macao's Commission Against Corruption (CAC) has apprehended three Judiciary Police personnel who allegedly demanded bribe from a suspected drug dealer, local media reported Friday.

The Macao Post Daily quoted CAC sources as saying that the anti- graft arm passed the case to the Public Prosecution on Thursday.

The CAC received a tip-off assuming the three police officers to have demanded a bribe of 300,000 patacas (37,500 U.S. dollars) from the alleged trafficker, the sources were cited by the newspaper.

The Judiciary Police has issued a statement on the case to pledge its full collaboration with the CAC investigations, according to the newspaper.
