China, Slovakia pledge to deepen exchanges and friendly ties

Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi met in Beijing on Friday with visiting State Secretary of Slovakian Foreign Ministry Diana Strofova.

Strofova is in Beijing to attend the political consultation between Chinese and Slovakian Foreign Ministries.

According to a press release provided by Chinese Foreign Ministry, both sides expressed their satisfaction over the status quo of bilateral ties and pledged to further expand exchanges and cooperation in various fields.

Slovakia reaffirmed its adherence to the one-China policy. China expressed its appreciation of such a stance, the press release said.
