A suicide car bombing targeting a Western convoy killed four civilians and wounded one foreign soldier in west of the Afghan capital Kabul on Saturday morning, Kabul deputy police chief Alishah Paktiawal told Xinhua.
Paktiawal earlier said one foreign soldier was killed in the bombing, but he corrected his saying after getting more accurate information.
Three civilians were also injured in the attack, which occurred at about 8:45 a.m. (0415 GMT), he added.
The bombing was targeting a U.S. military convoy, a Xinhua reporter at the site said, adding eight civilian vehicles and one military vehicle were damaged.
