font size

A bomb exploded near the building of Tajikistan's Supreme Court on Saturday, causing no casualties, said reports from the Tajik capital of Dushanbe.

The explosion shattered windows and slightly damaged the building, local media reported.

The blast was aimed at "intimidation," said Kurbonali Mukhabbatov, chief prosecutor of Dushanbe, at the scene.

Tajik authorities have labeled the bombing a terrorist attack, and have began a probe into the incident.
