Four-year-old homeless dog "Pie" is a male hybrid, a cross of a Rottweiler and a German Shepherd Dog. Despite a migrant life after being disowned by his master, he gained weight at a surprising speed, partly as a result of being fed junk food. Now his weight has hit 95 kilograms, actually equivalent to that of Mike Tyson. Fortunately, he has been adopted by a lady.

90-centimeter-high glossy ganoderma discovered in east China
A rare glossy ganoderma has recently been discovered by a villager named Chen Caibao in Le An, a county of east China's Jiangxi Province. It grew on a sapless root in a remote mountain. This glossy ganoderma, oddly enough, is 90 centimeters high, compared to 20 centimeter-high average ones.

The Hangzhou Bay Trans-sea Bridge, the world's longest of its kind in east China's Zhejiang Province, has been linked up successfully at 3:00 p.m. on June 14, 2007. The gigantic bridge strides across Hangzhou Gulf and links up the Haiyan County of Jiaxing and Cixi, a city of Ningbo.
