Chinese premier meets Philippine FM

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao met here Monday with visiting Philippine Secretary of Foreign Affairs Alberto Romulo.

Romulo arrived in Beijing Saturday for a four-day visit to China. On Monday morning, Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi held talks with Romulo.

Yang said the two countries have in recent years deepened political trust and cooperation in all areas, and maintained consultation in regional and international affairs.
