font size

Three fish traders were killed and four others injured when a van overturned on a bridge in Bangladesh Bagerhat district, 140 km south of capital Dhaka, Saturday morning.

Police was quoted by private news agency UNB as saying two unidentified fishermen died on the spot while five others were injured when the fish-laden van from Dhaka suddenly turned turtle on a bridge.

The injured were admitted to nearby hospital in critical condition where another unidentified fish trader died later.

One of the injured was identified as Haji Tarek, 35, while identities of the others could not be known immediately.
