The second phase of Million-ton Potash Fertilizer Comprehensive Utilization Project of the Qinghai Salt Lake Group's that cost a total investment of 4.68 billion yuan started on June 21 at the Cha Er Han lake of the Basin of Chadamu. It is China's largest cycle economy project up to now.

The construction scale of the Qinghai Salt Lake Group's one is to yield an annual output of 100,000 tons of sodium hydroxide, 120,000 tons of PVC, 300,000 tons of synthetic ammonia, 330,000 tons of urea, 200,000 tons of agricultural potassium nitrate and 130,000 tons of ammonium chloride. This project is expected to an achieve annual sales income of 2.52 billion yuan after it is completed.
