    White tiger triplet cubs debut in Jinan

    Three white tiger cubs at the Pao Ma Ling Wildlife Zoo in Jinan, capital of east China's Shandong province, met with visitors on Monday, or June 25. The 10-year-old tigress, Qiqi, gave birth to the triplets two months earlier, on April 25.

    "Wall of smiling faces" debuts on primary school garden

    A ten-meter long"wall of smiling faces" has debuted at the Huayuan (garden) Primary School in the city of Harbin, northeast China's Heilongjiang province. A total of 289 photoes hung on the wall depict the kids' true, lively school life in a bid to encourage them to enjoy their school life with smiles every day.

    Rare, spectacular scene of Yellow River waterfall

    A rare, spectacular scene emerged Tuesday, or on June 26, with the turbulent Hukou Waterfall on the Yellow River section in north China's Shanxi Province. The river surface of more than 300 meters wide was totally inundated, including the enclosured railings from where tourists often viewed the wonderful waterfall. The main waterfall and those at either sides join to shape a 200-m-odd water curtain. Such a magnicent sight incurred from rush-down currents of torrentials rains upstream, say locals, has not been seen for many years and it could continue for a couple of days.
