Mongolia's Prime Minister Miegombyn Enkhbold Tuesday met with a Chinese delegation headed by Zhang Xiaoqiang, Vice-Minister in Charge of the National Development and Reform Commission.

During the talks the two sides discussed cooperation in energy, according to the press office of the Mongolian Government.

Enkhbold said that China-Mongolia relations have developed smoothly in recent years and Mongolia attaches great importance to cooperation in the field of electric power between the two countries.

Zhang said China will encourage its large-sized enterprises to invest in Mongolia.

The Chinese delegation arrived here Sunday for a four-day visit.
