Gold price in Hong Kong went up 23 HK dollars to 5,995 HK dollars per tael Thursday, according to the Bank of China (Hong Kong).

The price is equivalent to 644.55 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, up 2.48 U.S. dollars at Thursday's exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.8075 HK dollars.
