President Hu meets Hong Kong youngsters

Chinese President Hu Jintao Friday afternoon met with Hong Kong youngsters who have been involved in an exchange program between Hong Kong and Beijing youths to celebrate Hong Kong's 10th return anniversary and greet the 2008 Olympic Games.

Hu, also general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and chairman of the Central Military Commission, arrived in Hong Kong at noon to attend the celebrations marking the 10th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to China and the swearing-in ceremony of the third-term government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR).
