The Late Autumn Hues of Zhenjue Temple

Zhenjue Temple, otherwise known as The Five Pagoda Temple, is located in downtown Beijing. It stands out among the capitals' numerous temples for its unique architectural style inspired by the Mahabodhi Temple in Bodh Gaya, India. The temple houses a museum displaying historical stone carvings and other related items. These photos taken late November show the Zhenjue Temple shaded by the golden leaves of the two ancient ginkgo trees that guard its entrance.
