The 9th China (Beijing) International Garden Expo, which officially opened to the public at 12:00 noon of May 18, 2013 in southwestern Fengtai district in Beijing, will last till Nov. 18, 2013. Garden designs from 69 Chinese cities and 29 countries are presented.
The expo covers an area of 513 hectares, including 267-hecare public exhibition area and 246-hectare Garden Expo Lake, nearly twice the area of the Summer Palace.
