Kaiping Diaolou and Villages is located in Jiangmen city in south China's Guangzhou province; in 2007, UNESCO named the Kaiping Diaolou and Villages as world heritage site.
Buildings of Kaiping Diaolou were built in multi stories and combine architectural features from China and the West. Kaiping Diaolou was originated from late Ming Dynasty, these buildings served for defense purpose as well.
