According to a report from the "Beijing Morning Post," in the backdrop of international energy shortages and soaring oil prices, China has begun to speed up the development of an early warning system for energy sources. The Office of the National Energy Leading Group began research in forecasting China's energy sources and an early warning system. The world's top international institutions gathered for "China's energy sources forecasting and early warning international conference," held recently in Beijing.
"China is the world's largest energy manufacturer and consumer. China's energy data influences the operation of the world's energy. National and international experiences should be absorbed and used as reference," said Ma Fucai, deputy director of the Office of the National Energy Leading Group. The modern means of energy analysis and the forecasting system put forward by him covers many areas such as energy exploration, production, transportation, demand, prices and efficiency.
