Chinese President Hu Jintao arrived in Beijing Saturday night, back from a three-nation trip during which he attended a Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit meeting and observed a joint anti-terrorism drill with leaders of other SCO member states.
From Aug. 14 to 18, Hu paid his first-ever state visit to Kyrgyzstan, attended the seventh SCO summit meeting in Bishkek, observed the joint anti-terrorism drill, "Peace Mission 2007," in Russia's Chelyabinsk, and paid a state visit to Kazakhstan.
