Macao media Wednesday paid particular attention to Chief Executive Edmund Ho Hau Wah's 2008 policy address which was delivered Tuesday.
Macao Daily News, the leading local Chinese-language newspaper, dedicated three pages to cover the policy address delivering.
It said in a commentary that Macao's fast development is mainly due to the successful implementation of "one country, two systems".
Jornal Va Kio, another major Chinese-language newspaper, in a column article praised the chief executive's policy address for its direction to build a cleaner society.
Macao Post Daily, an English newspaper, spared its front page for the policy address, outlining main points of the direction.
