People from all walks of life in Malaysia had donated 4,625 tents to quake-ravaged regions in southwest China's Sichuan Province, according to the Malaysian embassy to China on Tuesday.

The first batch of 1,020 tents arrived in Guangzhou City on Monday. Local civil affairs bureau and the Guangzhou Office of Sichuan Province will transfer the tents to disaster-affected areas as soon as possible. The remainders will arrive in batches.
