Chinese oil giant chief blames speculation for oil price rise

Speculation is playing a key role in the current price rise, the chief of one of China's oil giants said on Tuesday.

Fu Chengyu, President of China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) told the on-going five-day World Petroleum Congress that "speculations are flaming up the oil prices."
