Language competition finals held for overseas students in China

The finals of the "First Chinese Language Competition for overseas students studying in China," co-sponsored by China Central Television (CCTV) and the Office of the Chinese Language Council International(Hanban), were held beginning from July 7 at CCTV.

Thirty winners from 20 countries who came to the forefront in the first round have qualified for the finals of this competition. The finals of this Chinese language competition are divided into nine sections, and will assess players' overall understanding of the Chinese language in aspects including listening, speaking, reading, writing, and translation.
