Chinese president reiterates policy stability, price control in H2

President Hu Jintao has said the government will continue its proactive fiscal policy and prudent monetary policy in the second half of this year, with stabilizing prices a priority.
Hu, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, made the remarks at a symposium held in Beijing Thursday. People from the non-communists parties and the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, as well as those without party affiliations attended the event.
