Results from the American "PEW Internet and American Life Project" survey show that, by 2020, the mobile phone may become the major tool for Internet access.
77% of respondents basically agreed that "the mobile phone will become the major tool for Internet access for most people in the world by 2020." 22% of respondents did not agree with this prediction, and 1% had no opinion. Most experts believe, although the Internet infrastructure will continue to be improved over the next 10 years, by 2020, the original Internet infrastructure will maintain its status quo, and it is unlikely to be replaced by any new system.
