A fire razes four halls in a major temple on Wednesday in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, but no casualties were reported.

The fire occurred around 2:30 p.m. in Baotou City at 150-year-old Miaofa Temple, the largest Han-Chinese Buddhism Temple in the Inner Mongolia.

The loss is at least 10 million yuan (1.4 million U.S. dollars).
