With its advantages in composite materials research and development, Harbin HF Automobile Industry Group Company Ltd. has been identified as one of the top 5 domestic large-scale aircraft manufacturers by AVIC1 Commercial Aircraft Co., Ltd. (ACAC). It joins Xi'an Aircraft Industry(Guoup)Co.,Ltd, Shenyang Aircraft Corporation, Chengdu Aircraft Industry(Guoup)Co.,Ltd and Shaanxi Aircraft Industry(Guoup)Co.,Ltd, in the production of large-scale aircraft.
According to Harbin HF Automobile's engineering and technical staff, 30% to 40% of the body structure of domestic large-scale aircraft currently being developed will use composite materials. The Harbin HF Automobile harbors outstanding advantages in composite materials production; and on this basis, has been promoted as a major aircraft manufacturer.
