By the end of May, 2009, a total of 3,300 non-resident students who graduated from Hong Kong universities have obtained approval to stay in Hong Kong.
Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) has relaxed the restriction for non-resident students to enter and obtain employment in Hong Kong since May 19, 2008.
Michael Suen Ming-yeung, director general of the Education Bureau under the Government of HKSAR, said on June 24 that hopefully this number will continue to increase so as to strengthen human resource of Hong Kong.
