Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping wrapped up his visit to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) on Thursday and left for Mongolia to continue his five-nation tour.

Yang Hyong Sop, vice president of the Presidium of the DPRK's Supreme People's Assembly, and other DPRK officials saw him off at the airport.

Xi arrived in Pyongyang on Tuesday on a three-day official goodwill visit to the DPRK, where he met with leaders of the country to exchange views on bilateral relations and other issues of common concern.

After Mongolia, he will also visit Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Yemen.
