Chinese premier leaves for Japan to attend tripartite summit of China, Japan, ROK

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao left here Saturday morning for Japan to attend a tripartite summit of China, Japan and Republic of Korea (ROK).

Japanese Prime Minister Taro Aso and ROK's President Lee Myung-bak would also attend the summit, which was scheduled to take place in Fukuoka.

The leaders will exchange ideas on the cooperation among the three countries, regional and international issues of common concern, according to the Chinese Foreign Ministry.
