Senior CPC official leaves Beijing to visit Sudan, South Africa

Zhou Yongkang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee Political Bureau left Beijing Monday morning for 5-day official good-will visits to Sudan and South Africa.
Zhou, head of a CPC delegation to Sudan and South Africa, is invited by Sudan's National Congress Party and African National Congress of South Africa.
Zhou's entourage includes head of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee Wang Jiarui, Chinese People's Armed Police Force Commander Wu Shuangzhan, Vice Minister in charge of the National Development and Reform Commission and Director of the National Administration of Energy Zhang Guobao, Deputy Secretary-general of the State Council Wang Yongqing, Vice Commerce Minister Fu Ziying and President of China National Petroleum Corporation Jiang Jiemin.
