Chinese FM interviewed by Japanese state broadcaster on various issues

Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi was interviewed Saturday by Japanese state broadcaster NHK on various issues.
In the interview, Yang answered questions concerning China's development and its role on the international stage, China-Japan as well as China-U.S. relations, regional cooperation in East Asia and the nuclear issue on the Korean Peninsula.
Also in the day, Yang met separately with former Japanese Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda and Kyoto Prefecture governor Keiji Yamada.
