The blue book systematically introduces economy, politics, society and culture of the United States.
This year's Annual Conference of the Chinese Association for American Studies, held between June 8 and June 9, focused on American studies, including a Chinese Academy for Social Sciences Forum, a forum on the China-US relationship in a new context and a forum in Commemoration of the 10th Anniversary of the Publication of American Studies.
Xiong Guangkai, former deputy chief of staff of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, and Li zhaoxing, the chairman of NPC Foreign Affairs Committee, attended the conference.
