Liu Yunshan, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, left here on Monday for the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK).

Liu, also member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee and head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, will also visit the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Lao People's Democratic Republic.

Liu was invited by the Workers' Party of Korea, the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Lao People's Revolutionary Party.
