The Ministry of Railways revealed that the Beijing-Shanghai High-Speed Railway Co., Ltd. was established today in Beijing; and the railway has met all necessary conditions required by law.
The Beijing-Shanghai High-Speed Railway Co. was founded under the guidance and promotion of the Ministry of Railways, and in collaboration with the Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shandong, Anhui, Jiangsu and Shanghai governments. It is a joint venture by the China Railway Construction Investment Company, Ping An Asset Management Ltd., the National Social Security Fund Council, the Shanghai Rail Investment Co. Ltd., Jiangsu Transport Holdings Ltd., the Beijing Municipal Infrastructure Investment Co., Ltd., Tianjin Urban Infrastructure Construction Investment Group Co., Ltd., Nanjing Railway Construction Investment Ltd., Shandong Expressway Group Co. Company, Hebei Construction and Transport Investment Ltd., and Anhui Investment Group.
