Upon the 17th anniversary of the establishment of the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone, there are seven new contracts with a total investment of over 30 million yuan being signed, among them a mini-car production base into which Dongfeng Yuan Vehicle Co.,Ltd. has invested 1.2 billion yuan to establish. By now, the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone includes seven whole vehicle enterprises - the highest in auto industry concentration in China - with an annual output of about 970,000 cars and approaching 1 million per year.
With the goal of making Wuhan the "Motor City of China" and the improving investment environment, the automotive industry chain in this development zone is showing a rapidly rising trend.
