The No.2 natural gas treatment plant, funded by the PetroChina Changqing Oil Field Company in Sulige Gas Field, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, was put into operation recently. This is currently the largest domestic natural gas treatment plant, with an annual handling capacity of 5 billion cubic meters.
Covering an area of 4,000 square kilometers, resources in the Sulige Gas Field expanded to 3.8 trillion cubic meters; and confirmed reserves amounted to 533.6 billion cubic meters. This is presently the largest natural gas field with confirmed reserves on land.
