Gold price in Hong Kong dropped 212 HK dollars to close at 7,756 HK dollars per tael on Tuesday, according to the Bank of China (Hong Kong).
The price is equivalent to 840.61 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, down 23.03 U.S. dollars at Tuesday's exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.745 HK dollars.
