China-US Chamber of Commerce (CUCC) office in China was established on June 27 in Beijing. President of CUCC Wang Zhiwen said that affected by the financial crisis, US investors' confidence has not been fully restored, but they are very optimistic about the prospects of China's economy and are actively looking for suitable investment projects in China.
Wang said that compared with the United States, China's financial system is basically healthy and stable. Because of the outbreak of the financial crisis most countries are in economic recession, while China's economy sustains growth, this has an enormous attraction for investors from the US. China remains the world's promise land for investment.
In May this year, CUCC organized a business delegation to study in China, and signed a total of 20 billion USD investment intentions in Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Hubei and other provinces and cities.
CUCC is one of the most influential international chambers of commerce in the US. It has more than 2700 member companies in China and America, with assets of these enterprises amounted to more than 500 billion USD.
