One of two explosive charges hurled by unidentified assailants from a speeding car in south Lebanon exploded Wednesday inflicting minor damage, but no casualties were reported.

According to the state-run National News Agency, the assailants drove a black BMW on the Kfar Falous-Jezzine road, east of the southern port city of Sidon.

The explosive charges, concealed in black bags, were dropped near the residence of police officer Fadi Iskandar and his brother, Ghassan.
