Israeli fire kills Palestinian man in West Bank town |

Israeli troops shot and killed a Palestinian man in the West Bank city Nablus on Wednesday morning in the second day of military operations in the town's refugee camp.
Witnesses said that two gunshots hit Salim A-damouni, 38, in the head while he was inside his house in el-Ein refugee camp in the west of Nablus, killing him immediately.
Medical sources said the Israeli army prevented the ambulance workers from reaching the house which belonged to a senior Hamas member, who was killed by Israel in an airstrike in 2001.
An Israeli soldier and a Palestinian militant were killed on Tuesday when the largest incursion in months started. Israel claimed the operation was to arrest militants suspected in attacks against the Jewish state.
