Singaporean, Japanese PMs meet on sidelines of ASEAN-Japan Summit |

Following the summit between the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and Japan Wednesday, Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong met with Japanese Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda.
The two leaders affirmed the strong bilateral relations between Japan and Singapore, according to a press release issued here.
Lee also welcomed the substantive conclusion of the document the ASEAN-Japan Comprehensive Economic Partnership, and stressed the importance of Japan's continued engagement with Southeast Asia.
