Russian President Dmitry Medvedev will pay an official visit to Germany at the invitation of Chancellor Angela Merkel on June 5, the Kremlin announced Friday.
"The program for the visit includes talks with Chancellor Merkel, a meeting with Federal President Horst Koehler and representatives of political and business circles, and other meetings," the RIA Novosti news agency quoted a Kremlin press release as saying.
This will be Medvedev's first state visit to Germany since taking office on May 7.
