A U.S. cargo plane crashed into a house shortly after takeoff in Colombia on Monday, killing two people inside the house, local radio reported.
The Boeing 747 cargo plane crashed at 3:50 a.m. local time (0850 GMT) near the town of Madrid a few minutes after taking off from Bogota. The plane was on its way to Miami.
The eight crew members survived and were rushed to hospital together with a third person from the house who had sustained injuries.
The cause for the crash is as yet unknown.
