Blast heard in NW Pakistan

A blast was heard Thursday evening in the northwestern Pakistani city of Peshawar, according to the private Geo TV.

Express News, another private TV channel, quoted police sources as saying that the explosion was the result of a rocket fired by unknown people.

It was heard around the university town of Peshawar, the provincial capital of the North West Frontier Province. The police is looking for the blast site.
