Tribal leader and at least five others killed in blast in Pakistan

Malik Rehmatullah, a tribal leader, was killed along with at least five others in a mosque in a blast Thursday evening in Bajaur, a Pakistani tribal town in northwest, according to the private Geo TV.

A suicide bomber blew himself up as local people were offering prayers in the mosque, according to TV reports.

Rehmatullah was the head of a tribal lashkar, militia, which fights against militants.

The injured are being shifted to a local hospital as some of them are in critical condition, the death toll from the blast might increase.
