Indonesia to seek compensation for oil spill

Numberi said that the claim aimed at compensating the environmental damages and restoring the life of fishermen after the oil leak from oil rig contaminated Indonesia's waters.
He said that the government has calculated in detail the damages, which is supported by valid data, adding the claim includes the potential long-term damages caused by the incident.
Indonesian President has asked to speed up the settlement of the case.
