Indonesia, Thailand hold joint commission meeting

Indonesia and Thailand are holding the 7th joint commission meeting (JCM) to facilitate bilateral cooperation, a press statement issued by the Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday.
The ministerial meeting is scheduled on Sept. 1-2 in Nusa Dua of Bali province following the last meeting at Thailand's Bangkok in 2007.
The 7th JCM is jointly chaired by Indonesia's Foreign Minister Marty M. Natalegawa and his Thai counterpart Kasit Piromya.
Important issues brought in the meeting consist of cooperation in politic and security, trade, economy, industry, agriculture, mining, tourism, health, endangered species protection, technique, culture and social.
Both sides will also exchange their views on regional and international issues.
