An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale jolted Kermadec Islands, New Zealand, at 09:54:31 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 35.00 km, was initially determined to be at 30.9199 degrees south latitude and 178.0671 degrees west longitude.
