Mongolian president to meet with Obama during visit to U.S.

Mongolian President Tsakhia Elbegdorj will meet President Barack Obama during an official visit to the United States, the Mongolian president's website said Friday.

The first stop on Elbegdorj's June 13-18 visit to the U.S. will be Seattle, Washington state, home to software giant Microsoft Corp.

Elbegdorj will also visit San Francisco to officially open a consulate there.

Elbegdorj will meet with Obama on June 16. He will also meet with lawmakers and other officials and address several research institutions during his two-day visit to Washington.
