Three persons were killed and nine injured with a cargo plane felt into a house located in the municipality of Madrid, department of Cundinamarca, in Colombia, authorities said Monday.

Commander of the departmental police Colonel Fabio Castaneda said that the accident occurred on Monday's early morning when a Boeing 747 of the U.S. Centurion Company fell down into a rural house located some 200 meters far from the main town of the municipality.

The plane had taken off at 3:55 a.m. local time from Bogota's El Dorado airport to Miami, U.S.

The three killed person in the moment of the accident were inside the house, and another person inside the house was injured. The eight passengers of the plane are seriously injured.

Three injured were taken to a local hospital, while the rest of the injured were taken in helicopter to a police hospital in Bogota, capital of Colombia.

Three persons were trapped in the plane's fuselage.

According to witnesses, one of the plane's engines went into fire and the accident occurred when the pilot was tried to go back to the airport.
