Houston police is investigating an alleging one of the city's biggest prostitution ring with a client list of more than 1,500, including elites in the city, local officials said Monday.

Police said they are trying to identify all the alleging clients on the list, adding that the result may trigger a citywide scandal.

Investigators said computer experts had already found several names through credit card receipts records, which includes professional athletes, doctors and lawyers.

Investigators said they will also try to track down the girls who allegedly worked for the prostitution and also plan to interview the clients.

Local police arrested on March 10 a couple, Deborah Turbivill, 33, and her husband Charlie, 31, for operating the prostitution ring. The couple are facing aggravated promotion of prostitution charges.
